| James Bond Island - most locally called Khao Tapu, some call Nail Island while you can see from picture it's look like a nail. This famous land mark became the world tourist attractions in Southern Thailand, when the James Bond movie The Man With The Golden Gun was filmed in 1974. The star was Roger Moore Christopher Lee and Britt Ekland, and the director was Guy Hamilton. | |

The local explain the formation of Khao Tapu, is there lived a fisherman who used to bring home much fishes everytime he went to the sea. However, one day he could not catch any fish despite tedious attempts only picked up a nail with his net. He kept throwing the nail back to the sea and catching it again.
Furious, he took his sword and cut the nail in halves, using all his power. Upon impact, one half of the nail jumped up and speared into the sea forming to Koh Tapu or James Bond Island to day.

| Panyee Island ( Koh Panyee ) | |
| Panyee Island, the locally called Koh Panyee. Generally in tourism called Panyee Island or Gypsy Village. The small island has a picturesque village with hundreds of wooden houses, shacks, school, health center or restaurants where the villagers live are build on stills over the surrounding shallow water. It's seem precariously no one seem quite sure but all villagers still in this community. Fishing is the No.1 industry for this Muslim village, nowadays it's was No.2 most of them join of tourism industry and less than 30% are still fisherman. | |
